How to import DVD Movies to Final Cut Pro? 
Final Cut Pro is a well-known professional video editor, video creator to edit and re-create videos. Convert DVD movies to Final Cut Pro Supported Video Format
Follow the below steps, you will know how to convert DVD movies to Final Cut Pro supported video format. Before conversion, make sure you have downloaded DVD movies to Final Cut Pro Converter.
Launch DVD Ripper for Mac to import DVD movie.
Launch DVD Ripper for Mac and click "
" to load DVD.
Note: Enhanced DVD Analysis is for ripping structure copy protected DVD movies (usually 99 titles). Most latest Disney movies, Sony Picture Movies are structure copy protected. It will take longer to load DVDs with EDA.
After click "Load DVD", then choose "VIDEO_TS" to load DVD movies from your DVD-ROM.
Select Apple Software, Final Cut Pro as Output profile.
Choose Final Cut Pro as output profile. This Mac DVD Ripper has pre-set the best setting for you, and also keep the resolution of original DVD.
Set output parameter: Click "Video" or "Audio" button in the ""Profile" drop down list at the bottom, you can set the Resolution, Codec, Rate, Bitrate, etc. for your Final Cut Pro videos.
Start converting DVD movie to Final Cut Pro supported video
Press "
" button on the top to start converting DVD to Final Cut Pro video. After a moment, you could finish converting dvd to final cut pro and open the folder of output video by clicking "Open" button.
Tips: To trim videos to clips, you cond click "

Part Two: Import Output videos to Final Cut Pro
Launch Final Cut Pro and you can see the layout of the Final Cut Pro Interface. From under the File command at the top of the interface, select "Import" and "Files". Then select one converted file from the Choose a File window and press the "Choose" button to choose this file. So that, you could easy import dvd into Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Pro 7 for editing.
