How to Speed Up or Slow Down Video Clips iMovie '09?
iMovie is pre-installed in latest iMac, Mac Book or Mac Pro, and it's really an easy-to-use video editor to edit and create new videos, which is recommended by many editors.
Not all Mac users are familar with iMovie, and the most frequently asked question is how to speed up or slow down video with iMovie. Don't worry, it's not that difficult. Here is a tutorial for iMovie '09 and iMovie '11.
Launch iMovie and import your project.
Launch iMovie and import your project. Then double-click the video clip on Project Library.

Speed setting - Speed up or Slow Down
You will see the Inspector window after double click the video clip. Click on the "Convert Entire Clip" button. Clip must be converted before its speed can be adjusted.

iMovie will take a while to parse the video clip. It depends on the length of the video. Then you will see the button turn to a slidebar. Slide it to tortoise, the speed will slow down, while it will speed up if you slide to rabit. You can also change the number before % as well. The larger the number is, the faster it will be.

Click "Done" to finish!
Easy, right? Well, if you still have other question, please refer to the details below:
